Wizards are weaving their magic quite nicely as they are leaving a lasting impact on the minds of audiences. “Wizards of Waverly Place” is a television show based on life and events of a family of wizards that is currently airing on Disney Channel. A Disney Channel Original Movie based on this magical television series has already been announced. The production of this movie has made significant progress and most of it was filmed in Puerto Rico. Disney will be releasing stuff based on “Wizards of Waverly Place” in the fall of 2009. Gaming geeks will be ecstatic that a Nintendo DS game based on the series has been announced as well and it will be available in markets soon. A music album based on “Wizards of Waverly Place” is also due to be released by Walt Disney Records on August 4, 2009.

Magic is definitely in the air for all those who have been watching “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Due to the huge fan following of the show Disney Channel is contemplating a windfall by releasing merchandise based on this TV show. The children are going mad after Selena Gomez who is enacting the role of Alex Russo on Wizards of the Waverly Place. She is now the new teenage sensation after Miley Cyrus of “Hanna Montana.” The voice of audience certainly seems like we want more. They seem like ready to take away all merchandise related to the show that’s gonna be in markets in near future, right now.

“Wizards of Waverly Place” has presented us with the mystical world of wizardry in its two seasons. To catch up with even more spells, season three is already under production. Though wizardry seems more of a fiction than fact, it indirectly showers respect on all talented magicians. We might not have met a wizard in real life but we have often seen or heard about great performances by magicians. Since magic is a dying art, “Wizards of Waverly Place” has certainly played an important role in reviving our interest in magicians. We are certainly getting impatient to once again catch up with this team of wizards and hope season 3 of “Wizards of Waverly Place” airs soon.
