Today, I’m gonna talk about a very exciting as well as the most awaited event of the year. Hey! It’s Halloween and Disney Channel has full plans to celebrate it, with their month-long ploy named ‘Wiz-Tober’. Don’t get confused, if you haven’t heard this name before. Actually, its’ network’s month long Halloween Program which will be hosted by the star cast of Hit Disney series ‘Wizards of Waverley Place’. Celebrities, who will be hosting ‘Wiz Tober’ are, Selena Gomez playing Alex Russo on series, David Henrie portraying Justin Russo, Jake T. Austin playing Max Russo and Jennifer Stone as Harper Evans. So, get ready to see all your ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ favorites in ‘Wiz-Tober’.

‘Wiz-Tober’ will feature all new episodes of series every Sunday (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) in October on Disney Channel. Here’s the line-up of ‘Wiz-Tober’-

On Sunday, October 5, the episode scheduled to air is ‘Graphic Novel’.

Catch the episode entitled ‘Racing’ on October 12.

‘Maximan’ will be aired on October 19.

On October 26, the episode planned to air is ‘Saving Wiz Tech, Part 1′.

‘Saving Wiz Tech, Part 2′ will be aired on October 26.

Wow!! Really an exciting upcoming event…. I think fun and enjoyment on ‘Wiz-Tober’ will surely shake the things up…. when everyone will be in Halloween mood.

It was very exciting to see ‘Wizards of Waverly Place‘ second season opener ‘Smarty Pants’. It was aired on September 12, 08 and I liked it a lot.

The most-thrilling as well as the funniest moment was when I came to know that pants can make you smarter. Episode opens with Justin who shows a pair of Smarty Pants, to Max and Alex. And you know these smarty pants are really very smart; whoever wears them, will know the answers to everything. At first, Ales doesn’t take it seriously and they forget about it.

Later on, we see that a competition is going to be held in the school between Harper’s team and Justin’s team. Unfortunately, a girl from Harper’s team gets electrocuted when she goes to test the buzzer. Its’ not possible for Harper’s team to compete against Justin’s, without equal number of members on both sides. Alex takes the opportunity and decides to replace the gal. She finds out that Smarty Pants will help her to pave way to Dean’s heart, her latest crush.

So, Alex decides to wear Smarty pants, just in hopes to win the competition against her brother’s team. Things work out fine, and she answers all the questions before anyone else gets a chance. Harper gets jealous of her as he wants to be the only one in the team who knows all the answers. Alex realizes that her cheating doesn’t allow Harper to shine so she takes off the pants. In the end, Harper wins the trophy.

Well, I think, it was a good episode and it opened the second season brilliantly. The complete episode is available here to download….. As of now, I’ve set my sight on the next episode entitled ‘Beware Wolf’.

Wizards’ of Waverly Place are back with second season and the more surprising and entertaining news is that Network has made an official announcement to extend the second season. It simply means that now we’ll have double fun and double entertainment with this upcoming season from series.

Disney Channel announces last week that it has extended the second season of its popular show ‘Wizards of the Waverly Place’ and now we’ll have 26 episodes instead of 13 episodes. It’s very brilliant decision made by the network for a series which has become one of the biggest hits of Disney channel, ranking No.1 among the kids and the teens as well. Gary Marsh, president of entertainment for Disney Channels Worldwide says, “Wizards is an unqualified hit, and it has turned its cast into bonafide superstars”.

So, what you say? Obviously, you’d say ‘it rocks’. Fans are very happy after this announcement and me too. Actually, I am a huge of series and was waiting for second season. Now, it’s good that our fave show is back with an extra bonus.

Well, second season will be premiered on 9-12-2008 with the episode entitled ‘Smarty Pants’. Here’s a little story of this upcoming episode: Alex wears Smarty Pants which give her all answers when she and Harper enter an academic competition. Later on, she realizes that her cheating methods are not going to pay her well.

Well, it’s cool that series season 1 is over, at least, now we can some bright hopes of second season.

Hey! It doesn’t mean that I’m very excited and felicitous after season 1 finale, actually, its’ my way to express how much eagerly I am waiting for second season. Season 1 finale ‘Art Museum Piece’ was aired on August 31, 08 and it was an end to a 21 episodes long season. Let’s see what happens on this season finale:

Alex decides to have a short cut on her Art History assignment and brings the historical masterpieces as such Mona Lisa, Blue Boy and Scream to real life. Her intention is just to make them help her by answering the questions on her work sheet. WoW!!! What, if same happens with you? Don’t get so excited as its’ never gonna happen with you! LOL…

Finally, it’s Justin who redirects the art figures to their respective canvases by stating the specific details. On the other hand, Jerry and Max use a spell to play football which results in a havoc when the football lands in Theresa’s dinner soup. So, this is what happened on season 1 finale.

What’d be there in upcoming season?? No guesses, as no cliffhangers are left unsolved by the series and we can’t say any thing before any official announcement. Let’s see when we’ll have some official words on the second season of ‘Wizards of the Waverly Place’. Till then, enjoy here the episodes from first season of series.
