The blonde ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ star Selena Gomes is in news now a days for her statements and events going on in her professional life. The teenage heartthrob appeared on MSNBC’S   Today show recently on 2′nd October to promote the new season of the show and her debut album ‘Kiss & Tell’. It appears she’s enjoying her professional life to the most. Her debut album has just been released for Hollywood records. She’s quite surprised with her album as is clear from her statement to MTV news, “I went to Target(store) the other day and I saw my face on CD and that was the weirdest thing to me” for  any other person it would have been a happy moment though. These Celebrities are a hard nut to crack.

This Wizards of Waverly Place star is also busy listing her favorite celebrity guys. In her words, “I like Emile Hirsh, Ryan Gosling and Jason Mraz”, all of whom are above 2o. She even revealed that she has a crush on Jason Mraz and praised his musical talent. She further said that she would like to collaborate with him. Lets see if her wish comes true, may be she can do some magic on him using her wizardly skills. Further good news for the fans of Wizards of Waverly Place came with Disney releasing a game and a movie based on the television series.

Selena Gomes is also indulged in social service. On October 6, she made a surprise visit to Charnock Elementary school for Office Max’s, ‘A Day Made Better’ event in Los Angeles. She gave a good surprise to the school with an award and $1000 worth of school supplies. She also spent time with kids teaching them the importance of ‘giving.

Her first single “Falling Down” of her first album entitled ‘kiss and Tell’, has been released now. This American actress and singer has her own band, The Scene. Her views about her first song were captured from Twitter.com, “My single comes out on Radio Disney today! I’m freaking out! Yes, I just sat in my car alone crying because I heard my song on the radio for the first time ever!!! I hope you guys liked it!!” Yeah, we surely liked your song, baby.

Through the same site she unveiled the official cover page of ‘Kiss and Tell’ and remarked, “Here it is!!! I can’t wait for you guys to hear it!” the picture shows her with shinning hairs falling off her eye and a glittering heart painted on juicy lips. If you too are getting excited to see that picture then it’s just in front of you. You guessed right! The picture shown is the official cover of ‘Kiss and Tell’.

The album ‘Kiss and Tell’ will be available in U.S. stores from September 29 and as per the information; the music video for “Falling Down” is programmed to be premiered on Friday, August 28. as the date of release is coming nearer, ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’s Selena Gomez has crossed her fingers. Talking about genre of album she told, “Its fun pop rock and it has a dance beat to it. I’ve been working on it for two years, so let’s hope that it’s good.” Best of luck!

Wizards’ of Waverly Place are back with second season and the more surprising and entertaining news is that Network has made an official announcement to extend the second season. It simply means that now we’ll have double fun and double entertainment with this upcoming season from series.

Disney Channel announces last week that it has extended the second season of its popular show ‘Wizards of the Waverly Place’ and now we’ll have 26 episodes instead of 13 episodes. It’s very brilliant decision made by the network for a series which has become one of the biggest hits of Disney channel, ranking No.1 among the kids and the teens as well. Gary Marsh, president of entertainment for Disney Channels Worldwide says, “Wizards is an unqualified hit, and it has turned its cast into bonafide superstars”.

So, what you say? Obviously, you’d say ‘it rocks’. Fans are very happy after this announcement and me too. Actually, I am a huge of series and was waiting for second season. Now, it’s good that our fave show is back with an extra bonus.

Well, second season will be premiered on 9-12-2008 with the episode entitled ‘Smarty Pants’. Here’s a little story of this upcoming episode: Alex wears Smarty Pants which give her all answers when she and Harper enter an academic competition. Later on, she realizes that her cheating methods are not going to pay her well.

Hey! It doesn’t mean that I’m very excited and felicitous after season 1 finale, actually, its’ my way to express how much eagerly I am waiting for second season. Season 1 finale ‘Art Museum Piece’ was aired on August 31, 08 and it was an end to a 21 episodes long season. Let’s see what happens on this season finale:

Alex decides to have a short cut on her Art History assignment and brings the historical masterpieces as such Mona Lisa, Blue Boy and Scream to real life. Her intention is just to make them help her by answering the questions on her work sheet. WoW!!! What, if same happens with you? Don’t get so excited as its’ never gonna happen with you! LOL…

Finally, it’s Justin who redirects the art figures to their respective canvases by stating the specific details. On the other hand, Jerry and Max use a spell to play football which results in a havoc when the football lands in Theresa’s dinner soup. So, this is what happened on season 1 finale.

What’d be there in upcoming season?? No guesses, as no cliffhangers are left unsolved by the series and we can’t say any thing before any official announcement.
