On the other hand, I’m sure Selena’s abrupt cancellation must have come as a blow to the sold out organizers, who must have been banking on her show download ratings, and now can be assumed to be caught in quite a situation against the angry public.

During her recent visit to the central Canadian city of Manitoba, she got along with her boyfriend, who was on his way back from the South American phase of his ongoing world tour, and the couple planned out a private visit to a local shelter for animals.

They visited D’Arcy’s Arc and were mesmerized by a ten-week-old Canadian Husky dog, which was there for canine treatment.

Without making a lot of hush-hush, the couple adopted the dog and named him Baylor.

She was already missing her dogs and Baylor must have certainly helped her get over with the emotional feeling. Selena has four dogs – Chip, Willy, Wallace and Fina; two out of these have been adopted by her, just like Baylor.

She found one of them abandoned at a gas station, and rescued the other while on a trip to Puerto Rico. Selena, adopting a dog from the animal rescue branch at Winnipeg, was the last thing the CEO of the rescue organization, Mr. D’Arcy Johnston, had ever expected.

Selena’s now in the league of actors like Robert Pattinson, who, like her, have adopted a four-legged creature to give themselves a genuine, warm company at shooting locations.

I must say, only few (four-legged creatures for the moment) get as lucky as Baylor!

Selena Gomez might still be a ‘wizard in the making’ in the supernatural TV series, Wizards of Waverly Place, but in real life, she seems pretty seasoned at chalking out effective marketing strategies for her debut assortment of fragrances.

The actress is planning to launch her personal range of perfumes and she is done with selecting the range of flavors that could contribute to the fragrance in a rather self-identical manner.

Now, the actress has come up with an idea of allowing her fans to pick out the flavors to use from her chosen range. Her fans can now actually vote for the flavors that they feel could contribute to creating a fragrance that would symbolize her freshness, youthfulness and energy.

She, somehow, feels her fans know her better and can help her out to decide on the final flavors for her fragrance.
